| ABOUT WELLMAN CONSTRUCTION.... Wellman Construction has been creating wonderfully designed and built, award winning projects for the past 20 years. You can see and learn about many of them on this website. We have a passion for excellence, and for developing and completing projects that give our clients the most for their money, and additionally, something they can be truly proud of. Whatever type of construction project you are interested in, be it residential or commercial, Wellman Construction is the company to call. "They saved us a lot of money." Ludo Aaron - Meridian Hills Country Club Tennis and Paddle Ball Director Back in 1988, Wellman Construction began doing work for top realtors in the city, remodeling rentals, and fixing up their "for sale" projects. Over the years Wellman has worked closely with many realtors, including Mick Sheetz, Bif Ward, Dick Richwine, Julie Getty, Debbie Morris, and Jeff Kucic, to name just a few, creating long lasting relationships in construction projects. In 1991, Wellman Construction began working with Indiana University at Bloomington, participating in many building renovation projects on campus. In 1995, the commercial side of the company was greatly expanded, building shells for leasing companies, buildouts, and other subcontracting work for Burger King and Buca di Beppo projects.

In
2001, Wellman construction participated in Home-A-Rama,
and received accolades for the 3 story interior waterfall.
The gourmet kitchen in the Wellman Home was awarded The Best
Kitchen in the State by NKBA, and was written up in Better
Homes & Gardens magazine.
In 2003, Wellman Construction was the featured contractor in The Builders Journal. This publication is a trade magazine for the building industry, and features builders on the cutting edge of the industry as well as representing the industry in a positive light. In 2004, Wellman was again asked to participate in Home-A-Rama, and received the Best Finished Lower Level award. Also in 2004, Wellman Construction was a MAME Award finalist.

In 2005,
Wellman construction was the exclusive builder for the RTV6
Make-A-Wish Charity home.
Wellman Construction was proud to be the builder of the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home.
In 2009 and beyond, Wellman will be continuing work at the Meridian Hills Country Club, and the Lake Claire Cottages in a gorgeous area of Brown County. We also hope to be involved in YOUR next project. Wellman Construction has identified proven key components for success, and incorporates them into everyday operations. Wellman's team approach is second to none. With three full time employees, and an exceptional crew of subcontractors, Wellman has built projects ranging form 2,000 square feet to over 10,000 square feet. All unique...all distinctly Wellman.
